Falls short of what I recieved from both X-Men Legends II and GUN, but still an amazing game that cannot be missed.

User Rating: 9.4 | Daxter PSP
Daxter is one of my favorite games for the PSP, right up there with X-Men Legends II, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and others. Graphically, it is one of the cleanest and best looking games I have played on the system. Sound wise, there are a few issues, but nothing that takes away from the overall experience.

Playability and difficulty is my only real problem with the game. The game is short, but so were all the Jak games. The controls were tight, but the absence of the a second analog makes the camera very awkward. Also, the game is far to easy for its own good. On the main series on the PS2, the games range in dfficulty from moderate to unforgivingly difficult. On Daxter, it took me two and a half hours to beat the game. Nuff said.

One of the best things in the Jak series carries over to Daxter. The story, and how it is revealed. I simply loved the story. But I can't make you think that.

The way I see it, Daxter is an amazingly solid game that shouldn't be missed. Fan of the series or not.
