Daxter is an excellent game from start to finish. To begin this review, lets talk about the graphics.Well.....they're great! Each level you encounter has a vivid color pallet, and just the sheer scale of the levels add to the games graphical presentation. Each character model is well designed and looks very good for a PSP game, and the animation for Daxter is quite splendidly done. The game absolutely exceeds in its detail to its visuals.

The sound track is so joyful, and really fits each level. The sound track varies from rhythmic beats to playful tunes.Your spray gun sounds great, and each of the vehicles sounds just the same. The sound for Daxter is executed very well in presenting high quality.

Ever wondered what Daxter did during the time between Jak 1 and 2?Well this game explains it all.Apparently,Daxter took a job as an exterminator while Jak was kept prisoner. The plot really takes off though, when the city is over-run with bugs.So Daxter takes off on an epic quest to stop the bugs from over-running the city.Along the way he uncovers a plan to take over the city!Thats the story.

Game play in Daxter consists of the usual plat-forming stuff. You'll jump from platform to platform, climb up walls, but thats not all you do in Daxter. You'll get fun mini-games/dream-sequences and get to exterminate a whole lot of bugs, too. The mini-games are actually pretty fun and sorta rip-off different movies like Indianna Jones and the Matrix. The mini-games will have you usually pushing buttons in a certain order as they're thrown at you.Other than that, there are an assortment of collectibles to be well.....collected.The collecting does add some replay value because you can unlock a lot of different things from collecting items.

My overall opinion and final verdict on Daxter:Well to be honest, this should be in absolutely every PSP owners collection. Its just that good.It provides a very humorous tale with awesome game play that is most suitable for all ages.
