Wow. This game is really cool. I mean, honestly, I had my doubts; could Daxter hold his own in his own game?? But boy, was a I wrong: Daxter doesn't need Jak at all! The story goes like this: Daxter runs off after Jak is capture, and manages to survive for like 2 years. He employs himself as a bug hunter to save Jak, and it all goes from there. Man, this game is so much fun! It's just like a classic platformer; jump, kill an enemy, crawl to another area, repeat. It's that simple. The music alone is a great addition to the game itself, adding a level a depth I haven't really seen in a while; the music is simplistic, which mimics the game's style, easy to pick up and play. Unfortunately, the Ad-hoc stuff isn't too good, but don't let that stop you; if your looking for a great single player platformer on the PSP, look no further than Daxter.
