World War II shooter, with a great community.

I've been playing DOD:S for a couple of years now and it's just as good as when I first got it. The action, gameplay and online community offer a rewarding experience with this game.

You play as one of two sides: The Americans or the Germans.

Each team offers 6 classes for you to play, which are:
-Rifleman
-Assault
-Support
-Sniper
-Machine Gun
-Rocket

The variety of classes allows you to switch things up and make things interesting.

The gameplay is typically a 16 vs. 16 (depending on server settings) on a number of maps. The stock maps offer a number of different challenges and locations. Most of the maps are flag based objectives where your team must capture all the flags in order to win the round. Other maps are bomb based objectives where you must plant a bomb, and defend it until it explodes destroying the enemy objects, or you must prevent the enemy from planting a bomb on your objective.

Depending on the server you are playing on the map rules, server rules and map rotation may vary. With an extensive online community for custom maps there is lots to choose from. The majority of the servers are hosted by a clan. Personally I have been in two clans through DOD:S and have found them to be a rewarding gaming community and very satisfying and fun to play with.

Overall this is one of my favorite games of all time. And I give it a 10 out of 10.
