DDR MAX2: Dance Dance Revolution for the American PlayStation 2 is surprisingly better than the import for the Japanese PlayStation 2. With incredible exclusives, improved graphics and interface, this baby is one of the greatest mixes to date. GamePlay: As always, the gameplay for the DDR games is second to none. However, this game shines above the rest. All of the games in the series have always been friendly to both beginners as well as experts. DDR MAX2 is even more beginner friendly, while housing some of the hardest songs in history. This is very good to the game's potential audience, because anyone of any skill level can jump in and enjoy the game, with the pad or without. Being able to have fun from the get-to no matter what? This game gets a 10! Graphics: This game has a lot of eye candy that is really nice. Some of the older songs have new and improved banners. The menus are crisp and clean, and the music videos in the background are incredible. Kylie Minogue's video is so distracting...but in a good way! ^_~ Sound: Variety, variety, variety! This game has a very versatile selection of songs. The all-new US exclusive songs such as Get Down Tonight, Heaven, and Days Go By are almost too good to be true. This game has pop, techno, trance, house, RnB, and rap. All of the songs have a great sound quality to them, and the sound effects in the game never become annoying, as well as the announcer(and if worse comes to worse, you can turn him off). Value: The amount of fun in this game is as endless as your imagination. You can have fun with the sets of steps the game gives you, or create your own with Edit Mode. The Nonstop Mode is welcomed back, and Endless Mode is a great addition to the game! Endless Mode is, without a doubt, the biggest challenge the game offers, and it can be extremely difficult. Whether you're a DDR pro, or someone wanting to try something new and challenging, this game is perfect for you! Most DDR games are, espcially the last few before this. The game does offer great fitness benefits, as well. So there is actually a benefit to being cooped up at home playing a game.
