DDRMAX 2 is just like the other DDR's. Exactly like the other DDR's, with the exception of new music and workout mode.

This is the most accessible DDR out there right now. You can get this one for forty dollars, but it is worth the money. Yes, the gameplay is the exact, EXACT same thing. How can you really change it, though? Yes, I know what you're saying. DDR is not dancing, but simply learning how to freestyle walk. But I like it. You know what else? There's a new workout mode. The game asks for your weight and you get to burn calories and lose weight by "dancing." It's awesome. Check it out. The gameplay, like I said before, is exactly the same, but the animations are much smoother this year. The choppiness is still in the music video clips, though, and that's a pain in the butt. NOT REALLY. This game is worth getting...if you like DDR. This is a great party game, and with a copy coming out with a free dance pad, you can't go wrong. 7.5 out of 10. +Great music and graphics +Workout mode +Just plain fun -You're not really dancing -No challenge mode -Not much different from DDRMAX
