DDRMAX 2is the follow up to 2002's DDRMAX and is a much more polished game over the first DDRMAX. Graphics have been sprused up to look much cleaner with the fmv movies getting a slightly higher resolution though still pretty ugly. Introduced to the US here is Endless mode and Nonstop Mode returns from DDRs Konamix and bellow. 69 songs fill the soundtrack with popular tracks by Kylie Minogue, Dirty Vegas, CAPTAIN JACK, K.C. & The Sunshine Band, DJ Sammy, and more. Not to out do the licenses, Konami acts such as NAOKI, dj TAKA, Sota Fujimori, Mr.T, Sho-T, dj nagureo, 2MB, Akira Yamaoka, and more take up the majority of the song list. Perhaps the worst feature of DDRMAX 2 is its good number of repeated tracks from previous versions of DDR in the US. If you don't own Konamix or below, you won't notice this but many vets will frown on the repeat offenders. Overall, MAX 2 is not an overhaul over the first MAX game. It is however a more refined version with a more focused soundtrack and improved graphics.
