Let's start with the gameplay. The real thing that makes this thing great are those dance pads, and assuming you have one, it's great. It's just crazy fun! Who knew dancing to "Get Down Tonight" would be fun? Not me, I'm last to dip into the funk 70's-honey mustard sauce, but it can be sweet. At some points, the game actually comes off as slightly bossy. It sometimes seems like the guys at Konami stood staring at their game and said "Hmm...Slow song...Let's throw RANDOM STEPS." Sometimes the difficulty of a song is unknown and some steps variation really seem like all they were doing was trying to make it harder, which is a good thing, at times, considering the first one was a little too easy. The sound, oh, the sound... The sound is 3 times better than the first one. Songs like "Dream A Dream," "Long Train Running," or, well, "Get Down Tonight" really do make you wanna bob your head and move them flanky limbs! Of course, there are always those stupid songs like the Silent Hill Christmas thing, which I don't even have enough respect to quote. But otherwise, the game's core, the music, does very well. Buy. Now.
