Creative, addictive, but depressing

A week ago I got this game in Origin, which is still available to play for free. I downloaded it and started playing without a preparation in advance. Based on the small description that appeared, I thought it would be something similar to a "Dead Space" or similar. And the truth is that I had never been so hooked in the first instance with an unknown game.

The story is about eight passengers of different nationalities who survive a plane crash, wrecking on a mysterious island. From that moment we meet: Alejandro, Alice, Bob, Winters, Yuri, Illyana, Julia and Jakob. Each one with different personalities and abilities, of which you have to know how to take advantage so that you die of starvation, or in the worst case, commit suicide.

The game starts with a simple tutorial, where it explains how the characters can explore the island, or get resources. In spite of this, it does not mean that the tutorial gives you the correct answers, since your duty is to correctly choose your characters to do their homework in a better way.

Fortunately, the game also has an interesting alternate story to survival. On the island you will find many mysteries that start with an old blue color, which will give you the first key you should look for. The real challenge is to know how to move forward, since your characters must eat, sleep, talk and stay healthy, so that none of them die.

Personally, I have not even passed on the 16th. The key to moving forward and surviving is in the way you use the resources you find. For example, wood should be used to fan the fire or keep the library stable; the fruits you must occupy to keep the water rations constant. Each day these resources become scarce, although some characters can learn new ways to keep low levels of fatigue or depression.

The issue of stress is important. As resources are exhausted it is usually very depressing. If you are one of those who can endure the dark plots without problems, this game will enchant you. But it is necessary to notice that tension and sadness are transmitted on the game screen. Paradoxically, the game is usually addictive, so in the long run you will not rest until you find a way for the eight to survive for a long time.

In conclusion, "Dead in Bermuda" is not a bad game. It is a creative, entertaining and very addictive game. I could not declare if it is a point against, but the fact that as days go by and supplies are easily finished, one really shares the agony with the characters.
