Played the first game through 3 times and still wanted more so when riptide came out i was more then excited. They made a bunch of improvements from the first game, added a bunch of new weapons, and tons more. I dont know why this game is getting such bad reviews, me and all my friends love it, but if you liked the first one and want more get riptide. One of my favorite aspects of the first game was the borderlands style weapons collecting/looting with the the different colors for rarity but also the mods! They added a ton more mods in this game which is like all i did in my last play through of the first game was search high and low for every last mod, riptide capitalized on this. In my honest opinion this is more like a 40 hour game but thats my play style which is look everywhere, overall great game.
I played the first one and it was not just visually amazing, but also it had an incredible co-op system that made me play the game again even after I was done. I was not expecting so much improvement with the second one... Read Full Review
