DEAD island= call juarez the cartel 90 percent, but with a open world sand box lo go crazy in it has so sound FUN :)
The game is set in the fictional island of Banoi, located off the coast of Papua New Guinea. The main characters wake up in the Palms Resort hotel to find the island attacked by zombies and mysteriously, they are immune to whatever is making people into zombies. As they try to find and help other survivors, they must also find a way to escape the island as well.
Game:
If you've ever played a game called call juarez the cartel you'll distinctively feel an element within this game since both utilize the same engine: (chrome-engine5 ) But gaming experience may seem fun smashing zombies to bits but at some point within game it can get quite boring, that i guess depends on how you ask you question.
Sound:
Playing dead island with headphones shines. from standalone point of view. hearing zombies in distance when having no idea when they'll attack can become creepy "I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME WITH HEAD PHONES ON" or it will just be a game that feels less immersive.
Graphics:
Chrome-engine5 has been around for some time now, but overall it's good engine just like unreal engine but only if treated right it can do things well but can at times struggle to render on screen. but from design stand point it's nice vivid big world that sucks you in.
Multi-player:
Coop consists of 1-4 players just brawling it out and having fun at some point you can swap weapons and just lose your self in one immersive experience.
Pros:
Lovely detailed world thanks to chrome-engine, great absorbing sound only if you've used headphones, addictive coop, vehicles to utilize, bloody gory.,
Cons:
No weather system less equals immersive, no choice in characters, story's stale, npc=non playable characters dialogue becomes tediously repetitive, how you die feels to easy,
Final thought's
Overall it's fun game regardless if story's bad, but the idea is to enjoy your self while playing it. and that's what makes dead island fun.
Coop is blast
Single player isn't fun.
