A great zombie action rpg game. Even though it can be a bit rough, it was still worth every penny.
Now, playing it solo. Its just you. One man against the undead. Nobody has your back, except, for you. Just you. Solo has more of those ball-grabbing piss filled moments, and is definitely so much more intense. It felt much more suspenseful, really, its not hard to die in this game. I foudn myself creeping around cautiously, and quickly dashing from point A to point B, rather than charging in and splatting zombies with my buds. Onto the visuals. Dead Island looks great, granted you have a decent computer. Its like the tropical Island from Just Cause 2, but with zombies. later areas, like the city, start to look a bit more meh, especially the **** sewers. But, mostly, its awesome.
Dead Island really shines in its atmosphere. Sure, it can get real goofy sometimes, with all the crazy as **** mods. But once you get a bit, immersed in the game. It really does feel like a zombie apocalypse. It felt like I was every bit in the game, especially since melee combat is a lot more up close and personal. Time for the flaws. I've heard a lot of people say that it has ****tons of bugs. Now, I chose the black dude, so I tend to bash in my opponents. However, the Logan players I met, who specializes in throwing weapons, always complain about getting their **** stuck off the map. I really think its just the logan players **** since I've had a pretty smooth experience so far.
Seriously bro, Buy this game.
