Having buying an array of dreamcast games recently I decided I would buy Dead or Alive 2. Reviews through the roof, cited as the second best fighter game on the Dreamcast, okay that bought me. Trying it,however, gave me a very different opinion. Okay yes really nice graphics, nice environments and some nice models. Fighting wise? complete crap. Soul Calibur is superior to this game in every single way, Tekken 3 a dated PS game is superior to this game in every single way. What is there compelling about simply button-mashing? Oh hey it has this counter feature! Pity it doesn't work in single-player mode. Busty models clearly influenced many opinions on this.

The second installment in the Dead or alive series is a great one. It has all you could want from a 3d fighting game. It sports a colorful selection of playable characters each with their own move and combo lists as well... Read Full Review
