Certainly one of the deeper fighting games I've played in a while, and the multiplayer tag team was great.

DOA 2 is one of the best looking games for the Dreamcast. "But wait, there's more!" It also manages to fit in impressive controls to a very deep fighting game, some very bouncy characters, and great multiplayer. One player was great though. Any way you play this game is fun, it's just the tag team special mechanics really shined in multiplayer

A fairly short "Story" mode that no one will really want to pay any attention to the "story" anyway. It is kind of like a soap opera where the characters are always beating the crap out of eachother everytime they realize that they are siblings, that he/she killed so ans so...ect.

There are many modes here but mostly are the same thing. Don't let this make you think that the game is repetive. You can play for hours before you realize your done for the day.

The fighting is some of the best I've played...great counter options need good reflexs and the tag matches need plenty of strategy. Punches and kicks all look very realistic, and even the fake, more out-there moves even look physically possible at times.

The sounds are kicking and punching sound effects, a robotic "Great!" or "Exellent!" coming in every once in a while, and the player's character muttering words in japanese with subtitles.
