This game is one of the rare ones. You want something with bang and flash, plus a short story inbetween. Something that gives you a chance to release that fighting feeling. Dead Or Alive 3 gives you those things and more. Dead Or Alive 3 is excellent. It features 16 playable characters like Kasumi, the runaway shinobi, Hitomi, the German-Japanese karate student and Brad Wong, the drunken master. The soundtrack has punch and bite: It features classic and more recent songs by Aerosmith. The opening song "Nine Lives" will pretty much get you pumped up. The music used during the fights are also appropriate for each character. When Tina fights, it sounds like a WWE wrestler's theme song. The sound effects give you the feeling that the punches that landed really hurt. The voice acting, even though it's Japanese only, is still great. Bass's voice sound tough and Leifang's voice sound adorable. The visuals (the main part of any video game) are just absolutely breath-taking. The characters look somewhat lifelike (Thanks to Microsoft) and the textures make it even better. A masterpiece in video game history and an XBOX Platinum Hit. With 16 playable characters, excellent sound and stunning visuals, it's no wonder Dead Or Alive 3 is the best game.
