OK, so it may be the most embarassing game 0f 2003, it does sport a veritable embarasment of pixelated pultritude, (look it up :) but looking beyond that, the actual voleyball game behind it, is a work of sublime genius. There are no lines, no dubious calls as to whether your spike was illegal or the ball in or out.. You just have to get it back over the net. It is completely minimalistic, and it takes you a while to get into the rhythm of the play. But once there it does indeed play like "digital crack" it's a thing of beauty to watch, and a joy to play. Even without the bouncing breasts, the lapping waves, swaying trees, beutiful scenery and catchy soundtrack. Sure you could spend ages loafing around the pool, but hopping game aside, it gets old real quick, as does shopping for suits, collecting stuff, and the quest to get your favourite female into the $1Mn Venus swimsuit. It may be a dubious premise, but the volleyball game behind it is a sublime work of art, far more so than any of the others out there. If you want to play the best game of volleyball, this is it...
