Dead Rising 2 does a better job then its predecessor in just about every way.

Dead Rising 2 does a great job of providing the thrill of smashing zombies without having to actually risk your life or even get up for that matter. The new aspects to the game like the craft system adds a new flare that helps to vary what is usually a dull combat system. Also the new hero of the game is one that most people will be able sympathize with. This not only helps drive the story but makes you feel like you are more involved.
The game doesn't go without its flaws though the biggest probably being the driving controls which are clumsy at best. When trying to fight against someone or race while in a vehicle you can consider yourself lucky if you can avoid getting stuck more then once. However, this flaw is not enough to destroy the charm of the game and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun beat-em up.
