Dead Rising 2 Review
DR2 is a survival horror game set in a casino/mall named "Fortune City". In which you and your daughter "Katey" must survive in to uncover the truth, and of course escape this casino/mall hell-hole.
Dead rising 2 introduces a new features as well allowing you to join a friends game and slaughter zombies in 2-player co-op together or compete in killing zombies in the 4-player competitive mode Terror is Reality. You can now combine weapons you find lying around to produce an all-new weapon that doubles the damage, pp bonus, and awesomeness. These combo-weapons include The paddle-saw(as seen on cover), the Defiler (axe + Sledgehammer= ownage), ServBot Lawnmower head (Rofl), and many other epic killing zombie tools.
There are thousands of ways to kill zombies in this game. If you have played and liked the first Dead Rising you are bound to freaking love this game. Not much has changed at all in gameplay. The Clock is still there, cross-dressing still implemented, psycho psychopaths, everything that made DR1 a awesome game is still there. BUT there is one thing missing from this awesome sequel... THE INFINITE MODE! There is no infinite mode which means no endgame gameplay, although there is rumors going around saying that they will add infinite mode as DLC. I am definitely hoping for it.
Over all Dead Rising 2 is a fantastic sequel to the first game that lives up to the Dead Rising name.
