Quite possibly the most overrated game I have ever played. Period.
The game has horrible control. It all feels so stiff, you might as well be playing God of War but Kratos can only move 4 directions. Using some of the weapons in the game feel clunky, and have no use other than leaving time for you to get hurt. The only weapon that I have found so far with any use is the Katana.
The text is f***ing tiny. I can't stand having to squint my eyes to read what the hell is going on in this mall. Most of the time I am pissed because I couldn't read what the last radio message was all about. This isn't a big part of the game, but It ruins the experience ever so slightly. The way you have to do the story is pretty lame too. Most of the time I'm trying to figure out where I am supposed to go - plus you have about 8 missions up at once and you are trying to figure out what is going on. Luckily you can skip all of them and still beat the game, but that is pointless. For all they care you could just stand in the area you spawn until the chopper arrives and get the hell out of there. With a game like this, it just doesn't work.
I know this game is old and was probably good for its time, but it is just not worth it now. Don't bother getting it, you will just end up pretending to like it because all of your friends do.
What a sad excuse for a zombie survival game.
I give this game a 4/10.
