The only survival game now that is truly a survivor horror.
Dead Space is a true survival horror game. They have the abieance of the creepness. You hear scratching on the walls, things moving in vents. People screaming, laughing, and crying in the background. The scene is mostly dark. The protagonist is only a engineer, and he arms himself with what he can find.
The gamplay pretty much plays like Resident Evil 4 or 5 the left stick stick moves your character and the right sticks controls the view. The left trigger aims the gun and the right trigger fires. You collect money to buy ammo, weapons, med packs. Also buy Power nodes to upgrade your weapons, suit, and equipment. These power nodes are also found in different areas of the ship. The action part is pretty intense you have monsters playing dead and jumping up to attack you. Some run at you to attack, grab you. They have different monsters from human being to little babies. To giant Leviathon monsters.
The music goes well with the games. Dark creepy. The storyline is great and has a small twist at the end that I never expected.
Overall if your looking for a game that is going to creep you out or you want to dismember alien zombies Dead Space is the game for you.
