Very creepy

Dead Space is about a guy named Isaac who is originally sent to respond to a distress signal along with a couple other people, Everything is going fine until the rest of the people Isaac is with are attacked by a group of savage aliens that were former crew members, Isaac runs like hell towards the elevator, and he is separated from his group, and to make matters worse, he has to survive the monsters aboard the ship while being assigned different tasks by his surviving crew mates.

The Good: horror fans will love this game; it is jam packed with many "jump" scenes and disturbing and creepy moments, the weapons are very cool to use and all have an alternate way to fire, dead space is a great looking game and has top notch graphics, monsters are easily killed if they are first shot in the leg and then shot again in the arm on the ground, a feature that lets you put your enemies in slow motion so you can either run if your out of ammo or blow them to hell.

The Bad: enemies often attack in groups; this can be very overwhelming and frustrating, monsters can only be killed when their limb are blown off.


Overall, dead space is a compelling survival horror, third person shooter game, and the ending cutscene really caught me off guard. 9.5/10
