new IP, EA got a winner here.
it took many elements from RE4, like weapon upgrades, the 3rd person style, they feel very similar, but dead space is very stmospheric, you always feel like the sole survivor who is trying to get away wz his life, exploring carefully, looking for useful items...etc.
the story is simple but intresting, it's not that good but the curiosity factor to know what happened to the ship will keep you going in ur journey, the controls are yet not perfect but it's better than RE5, the gameplay is welldone, usually you face waves of enemies which put extreme pressure on you but that's ok, as long as you aim and kill fast.
what i hated abt this game was the menu, they are in realtime which means you will have to stop in the middle of the battle to find an iten in ur inventory, but thanx to the shortcut buttons.
the game graphics are amazing, they dun need a super PC to run on max, they are very good, and they are very suitable to the game.
the audio is the best thing, the combination between the audio and the atmosphere is what makes this game scary, you will be surprised alot, be ready to jump off the chair alot, so if you are living in low ceil room, dun play the game.
there are some aspects abt the game are worthy to mention like the weapons, which are well designed, they feel useful and futuristic, they are upgradable too.
final word: i like the game, it has a decent replay value, a very nice experience, but sadly when you are done wz it, you are done ez it.
