Interesting new weapon system, somewhat decent story line, excellent graphic. This game is definitely fun to play.
The weapon system now is much more improve. While confusing at first, once you familiarize yourself with the tweaking process, it gets very enjoyable quickly. The ripper is more deadlier than ever, since you can now use the ripper and fire off a shot from another weapon at the same time. Your ammo can also be tweak to fire electricity, acid, stasis, or flame bullets, making dispatching enemies much more enjoyable to see. They are so many weapon combination you can do, that it makes killing the necromorphs in the game much more enjoyable. The nodes are now replaced with upgrade chips, which is better because now you can upgrade all your weapons at anytime to full strength.
The story line is decent and good enough to keep you interested. Picking up audio clips and messages along missions give you an idea what's going on at all times. You won't find yourself mindless roaming around not knowing what's going on.
The graphics are just a good as previous dead space games. The negative on this game is them recycle basically the same looking buildings on all the optional mission. The optional missions are their just to make the game longer, but nothing exciting about because you basically do same thing. Kill a bunch of necromorph until you finally reach your destination of weapon cache. No interesting story line along the way. Better off to skip the side missions if your playing this game a 2nd time.
This game is definitely worth a pick up, because it's fun to play and it also has a high replay value because you can play the game the 2nd time will all your fully modified weapons now.
