A total borefest that is also extremely hard to control.

All in all as you may have guessed by my score, Deathtrap Dungeon sucks very badly. First off let me tell you, the only reason why I own this game is because EB Games had a buy two PSX games get one free. This one was the free one. I was drawn in by it's interesting cover and the fact that it was an Eidos classic. Boy, I feel stupid now.

The Gameplay.......I shiver just thinking about it. It is so friggin hard to control your character in order to be able to do anything. There are a bunch of puzzles that aren't very hard. And as you may have guessed, you run into a deathtrap every once and awhile. And if you do run into a deathtrap of some sort your normally screwed. But the problem is that your already screwed with the horrible controls. Thats what makes this game so horrible and hard, the controls!

The graphics are mediocre, even for the time. It was a port from the PC but the thing is that they didn't upgrade. So yea, I'll just leave it there, they were mediocre.

The sound wasn't very good at all, but it wasn't the worst part of the game. The sound effects are dry and crusty. And the music, if any, is mediocre at best.

You will probably not find yourself playing this more than once because its just that bad. There is literally no replay value here.

Conclusion: Stay away, stay far away! This game is a deathtrap!
