I am only 14 so I wouldn't know what it is like to be able to play defender back in the day when it was at the arcades and people were hyped up about it being the new cool thing, although I have played the original before, but I was here when it came out for the Xbox Live Arcade, and boy can I say I do enjoy it from time to time. This games new graphics improve a lot. That is all you need to know. Sound hasn't improved that much but it is still better than in the 80's when it came out. Gameplay is still that fun and challenging game from when it came out. Level one is semi-easy, but I can barely make it past the second level, even then, I am still going to say this game is fun. Have you ever been in this situation? "I am so bored of GTA 4... What should I do now?" There is a simple answer to that question, play some good old fashioned defender. For that 30 minutes you need a break from your favorite real disc game, you can try and get to high levels killing aliens and saving humans. It is also great if you get bored of other Xbox Live Arcade games like Braid or Geometry Wars 2. So get it.
