Tired of Ghouls and ghost? This is the next best thing!

One of the first games I played where, the bad guys get the spotlight. It wasn't a sequel to Super ghouls and ghost exactly but, it came close. It was more of a side story or a spin off. It had potential to run with its own series. Don't know why Capcom didn't take advantage of that opportunity... oh well. It's sad how great games like this didn't get the attention it so deserved. This was a great game! But, hardly anyone knew about its pedigree or existence. It's another one of those great games you might have missed and it slipped through the cracks. Demons crest was a game based around that annoying bastard firebrand. He was that jerk that seemed impossible to beat in the Ghouls and Ghost series. Me personally, I hated that bastard! But after playing this game, I learned to like him! Firebrand can fly, grip walls, shoot fireballs, and hover. But the big selling point is the crest you can get. One crest per element .this feature helps you discover all sorts of new tricks you can do. Like the air crest ability to handle extreme winds and the water crest ability to allow swim more freely. I never got the crest of heaven or the special ending that came with it. Depending on how well you played and how far you got, you would see various endings. All of this plus amazing graphics, level design and, music makes this game a well-deserved spot in your SNES collection. I only wish I could find my copy... that way, I could play it again!
