Punishing and addicting! Some spoliers
The graphics are great and will definitly catch your eye
The bosses (most of them but all at first) are INCREDEBLY challenging and some will have you wanting you punch your tv out (cough, cough... Flamelurker and King Allant) but when you do beat them you might actually get up and start jumping on your couch with joy. I guarentee the first time you beat the harder bosses you will be trash talking your tv (yeah! Take that b***h! Kicked your a** Flamelurker!). Really, you will....
sound is very good and the music does a very good job at sucking you in and at times building suspence and anxiety (Maiden Astraea being the most rememberable of these, Tower Knight gets an honorable mention as well)
One boss in particular may be EXTREMELY difficult or VERY EASY depending on who is summoned (yes, it is anouther player, be perpared for one PVP boss fight unless you play off-line)
And to top all of this off and game either punishes or rewards you for how well you do in a particular area with the unique World Tendency system. On top on that there is also a Charachter Tendency system which also affects difficulty. More than likely (if your playing off-line [if you are playing online it resets to neutral when you restart the game]) you will more than likely have a black or PURE black (if your doing really bad and dying alot in body form) World Tendency, making the game harder lol (Atlus is cruel aren't they?)
The game is VERY rewarding but you really have to earn it
Tough love my friends..............
