It was cool to see an original game come out in years, but Destroy All Humans! is no different to games like GTA or the long-running series, Worms. It is, as most people believe, a sci-fi shoot-em-up, where all that matters is you staying alive. I bought the game and finished it in a weekend, so there really isn't much longevity here. The comedy will keep the story going, as long as you understand what the little alien dude is saying. His voice is almost like a cross between John Wayne and Clint Eastwood and the dialogue can often be funny, sad or just plain dull. Destroy All Humans! is a very entertaining game with little replay value, but just for the fun of it, play it again. The story is a bit awkward, you are this little green (cough) alien dude named 137, or what most of us call him, Crypto. He lands on earth to find his missing twin brother, or counterpart, 136 (damn! they all look alike!). On the way, he meets some stupid (no really) completely brainless humans that mistake him for an alien hellbent on humanities destruction with weapons to put Sadam Hussein to shame. The AI is dull, but the variety of atmosphere is superb. At times, you can ride around in your "ship" (as they say, I like to see it as a large pie) and cause as much destruction as possible. Crypto is also equiped with moves, such as DNA control where you can actually blow the brains out of a human head and use it as DNA samples to charge weapons and stuff. Destroy All Humans!, despite it's retarded AI and short-lived gameplay, is a great game with funny dialogue and a good plot twist to keep it going.
