What do you think when you heard "Alien", do you think Small, Green, viscious? Well you were mostly right.

User Rating: 7.8 | Destroy All Humans! XBOX
Everyone knows the fictional stories... green little monsters will come down to Earth and harvest every human, the aliens are ruthless and will stop at nothing and have much more advanced technology then humans. Well in Destroy all Humans! you will have to re-live the 50's era with shock of Aliens, but the only thing is, you are not a scientist, nor a military solider, hell not even a cow... you will play as Crypto Sporidium 137, an alien from outer space sent to Earth to... well you guessed it, Destroy all Humans! Now the game will pull you through many different loop holes, such as running around on foot and flying your air-craft. You will be able to shoot, probe, annihilate (Mars Attacks all over again!) and copy life forms, on foot. Now in air you are very limited, you can shoot your death beam... or pick up objects (such as humans or tanks) and throw them at anything on the screen. This gameplay get repetitive... fast, and with being able to beat the game in less than ten hours it gives the game not as much depth as I thought it would. The atmosphere in the game is great though, everything is destructible and the AI acts quite well for seeing an alien. But I really dislike the lack freedom. Don’t get me wrong, the game has lots of freedom in each level... but that’s the thing, each level is fairly short and takes no effort to beat nor fly around. In less than ten seconds you can be on the boundaries of the level and if you go any farther you will fly back to your space ship... But getting those negatives aside, the game plays well. Controls are good, camera angles are adjustable and very well placed and the graphics are really good. Character models in Destroy All Humans look marvelous, mouth movements are in-sync and animations are all well done. The Voice work is probably the best thing about the game. Great voice actors with lots of humor and the music in the game is well orchestrated and can fool you that you’re in the fifties (again or first time). I haven't seen any frame rate problems and most areas are quite large to travel on foot. There are lots of mini-games but they aren't that fun. It was a blast to play this game, lots of great things about the game and yet something’s they could have done a lot better. But overall Destroy All Humans is a fun game to RENT, because you can blow through it fast. Replayablity sucks but eh voice acting and gameplay help draw lots of the game.
