In Destroy All Human, you play as Crypto, a temperamental alien leading the charge of a Furon invasion on Earth. Right of the bat you can tell Pandemic wanted this to be a humerous experience with stereotypical shot-gun wielding farmers and weapons like the anal probe. Sometimes it is a little corney but most of the time it delivers a laugh or 2. After you learn the basics of the game and complete your first mission you can go back to the mothership and get another or just run around causing havoc and doing side quests. The main thing to collect in this game is DNA by taking peoples brainstems. DNA can be used for upgrades to your saucer, weapons, or your mental abilities. The saucer can also be used at almost anytime and has many weapons of its own. The story mode is lengthy and progresses nicely and have many different types of objectives you are trying to complete. Even with this though at times the game can tend to get repetitive. Also once the story mode is beaten there really isnt anything else the game has to offer. The amount of resistance you face is based on 4 levels. You have Civilian notice, police notice, army notice, and majestic notice(an FBI style secret organization). These can be lowered by staying out of sight or disguising ureself as a human for a while. The enemy AI is good, some of the more advanced enemies will dodge and roll away from your attacks and some of the civilians will panic and get hit by cars and such. There are a few AI glitches though. The weapons are creative and interesting and a lot of fun to use and you can use ure mental abilities for some pretty cool effects. There could be a little more substance behind these attacks besides them being upgradeable. Overall, DAH is a very good game that offers a lot of fun and lengthy gameplay but could do with a little more substance. If Pandemic is planning a sequel then a lot of those details will be hammered out then.
