It's NOT what you wish it was...

By the advertising you would think this is one of those "GTA - go around and do whatever - follow the storyline if you feel like it" types of games. after an hour into it, youll quickly learn that this is not how it is. the first few levels consist of you watching cut-scene after cut-scene (which isnt too bad) and then killing the same humans with the same 2 or 3 weapons every time you load back into a part of the US (which are unlocked as you advance in missions). i wouldnt mind the whole, having to unlock missions thing, but i was expecting a game where you could just go around killing people in creative ways. i guess you DO get to read minds and hipnotize humans into dancing or sleeping, but thats mainly for a distraction, because you're not allowed to be seen by many people or the military will come and youll just fight an endless amount of tanks until you finally lose. The first few levels are also sparsly populated rural areas and aren't much fun to rampage through, considering you only hav limited weapons to experiment with. i can't say i know how good it gets if you keep up with it, but this wasn't the game i was looking for. hopefully the next one will deliver like it was expected to.
