Fun Yet Repetitive
User Rating: 7.5 | Destroy All Humans! PS2
As fun as Destroy All Humans is, it gets too repetitive as time goes on. You play as an alien sent to Earth from the planet Furon to investigate the recent disappearance of your clone. When you reach Earth you have no idea what humans are capable of doing but you soon find out that human brain contain Furon DNA. So not ony do have to search for your "brother" you must collect DNA in certain missions. DNA does have it's upside as you can upgrade your weapons, mind control and saucer. While doing all this you then find out about a secret organization by name of Majestic who are bent on destroying you as much as you want to destroy them.
As far as animation goes it could have been better. Most of all building destruction. Only your saucer can blow up buildings and they just kind of fall, make a whole lot of dust and wind up being a pile of dirt and rubble. Destroying enemies is also very bland. Either they just fall down or disintegrate depening on your weapon.
Gameplay is fun but the missions start to repeat and the farther you get in the game the harder enemies get and the harder it is to gather DNA.
Overall Destroy All Humans is fun but it is best to rent first
