A great game, although it has a short lifespan
And so, we have DESTROY ALL HUMANS! one giant step on mankind, where you are an alien. You play Cryptosporidium 137 (crypto) who has been sent down to a 'tiny star' by his boss, Orthopox(pox) to find your brother alien Crypto 136.
There are some great moments in the game, and elements that we've (let's be honest) always wanted from other games, but never knew about.
Being able to extract human DNA with such weapons as the anal probe and being able to use psychokinesis (pk) on vehicles and humans to lift them into the skies. Oh, and did i mention you can lift up cows, too!
My favourite part of Destroy All Humans was using PK to smash people against things by lifting them into the air then banging them down. Also, the things those pathetic humans come out with like 'little green men' and 'they've come to change our way of life'. Not to mention the reference to the village people.
The missions can be challenging once you reach area 42 and although i've completed the game in about 7 hours, i must admit i threw the ps2 controller against the floor a few times in frustration. The stealth elements in the missions is very annoying, and ruined an otherwise great game, although the game is one of those with multiple ways of completing the missions.
