You know how when you first get that little puppy, and you think he's so cool until it starts tearing up your house?Destroy All Humans is like that puppy.When you first start playing this you will think that it is pretty cool.In a couple of days you will wish you never spent 50 moolah on the piece of work.Sure in this game you have a bunch of unlockables, but when a game doesn't provide enough reason to play on a regular basis why keep playing?
I won't complain about the visuals, because they're fine.The audio is not so great, because while searching human brains you will find that a lot of people are thinking about the same thing.The gameplay is just flat out repetitive and boring.Here's what you do in the game...do a couple meaningless missions to brainwash humans.You're probably wondering why I say the missions are so meaningless.Well because before you advance to the next city you have to get in your UFO and destroy the whole city of people you just brainwashed.Leaving you likely to say "What the hell did I just do those missions for?!"
You have to give it credit for what it tries to innovate though, even if it did fall flat on its' face.
If you must see what I'm talking about, rent it.Otherwise, save your $8!
