Since 2002 there have been two things for me that have shaped the alien world and they are M. Night Shyamalan's Signs (2002), and THQ's Destroy All Humans (2005). Now I bought this game seconds after it was put on the store shelves. I stayed up all night playing it and come morning I had completed everything there was to do. The story did not take it self very seriously but then again I did not expect it to. There are only 4 predictable weapons that are minimally upgradeable. Characters will run into walls and sometimes just disapear while running, or run through cars. With a Grand Theft Auto free roaming feel to it, so Its a lot of fun just to run around and raise your alert meter by destroying all the humans. You have lots of abilitys like Jetpacks, brain control, Mind scan, saucer, abitility to throw people and cars with your mind, and my personal favorite brain extraction which you rapidly press Triangle then a human head will expolde with green blood and a brain which you can collect to use to buy things. The story mode was quick and lasts about eight hours, then there is nothing to do but side missions and the side missions are not that strong either. Its just so much fun and addictiong its worth it. If you want to buy it wait until its in the $19.99 section of GameStop. But overall its nothing to lose your head over.
