Burn their Tires and Smash the Windows.
Although the soundtrack changed alot in DD2, im glad to say that the game changed alot too.. The most important change, apart from overall graphics and sound.. is that now the cars can be crashed to lie on their top, which was not possible in the first release.
Although i most say the original "Bowl" Deathmatches are not as fun as before.. The "Stock" Crash Races, which depend on how many adversaries you crash AND what place you make in the race are absolutely fantastic.
The racetracks are bombastic. Its so much fun racing towards some elevated obstacle, slamming an enemy right next to you into some devastating direction just before the "jump" will take effect ;)
You can probably notice some tires of your former competitor following you a little way further, but when looking back you can see him wrecked with a burning car.
The Stock Car Crash Racing was a splendid thing. The physics were great. OK, Maybe it looked a bit strange when you blast an enemy over the barriers right into the spectator-curve... But it sure is hell of a fun.
Until Now i never noticed any Racing Game being able to offer so much Fun, Destruction and Physics like Destruction Derby.
Watch out for the optician guys! *Wr000m*
