Why a 1? Simple. For the PC this is a DEFECTIVE GAME. The framerate, even on a a truly excellent system (p4 3.0ghz, 2 gigs of ram, radeon 9800 256, THE NEWEST DRIVERS, no AV or Firewall running...) is ABYSMAL. There are so many problems it's hard to decide where to start. The gamespot reviewer was INSANE to give this game an 8 for the PC, it's not a finished product. I for one, have contacted eidos demanding a refund. Maybe a few patches down the road this game will be great, but right now, it's not a game, it's an Alpha in a box.
