Deus Ex it's just one of those games that leaves a mark, specially in those who played it when it cam out, and not several years later. It's hard to understand the impact this game had, outside the proper context. It's innovative ideas on player freedom of choice, in the immersive story and credible characters, and most of all, the fact that all of that was blended into a believable world, in a not so far future, specially considering the choices and advancements humanity is going trough in reality, made of Deus Ex an instant classic. So much, that the outdated graphics are not even important to those who appreciate a good game. Even today, it's still one of my all time favourites, and still a good playable game anywhere. The amount of customization allowed on your character and the multiple choices and ways to achieve your goals and complete missions were, at the time of it's release, absolutely mind-blowing. And made it the predecessor to many of the top rated games we see today, regarding this aspects.
