Dante returns in a decent but somewhat boring sequel.

Well, what can I say, what I heard is right. Well not totally.

Gameplay: The gameplay is somewhat improved. I mean I think the actual engine is better, it's just the game wasn't designed the best. It's way easier than the first game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. What makes it bad is that it's easier in the wrong way. You'll know when I mean when/if you play it. The camera is a little more forgiving this time around, but still gave me some trouble here and there. It's short, although the first one was also. I'm not sure if it was different developers or what, but it just doesn't have a DMC feel to it. Oh well.

Sound: Well this game has a much improved soundtrack. The combat music is nice and heavy, but there is also a techno feel to it. The sound effects are also well done. The voice acting is terrible, I'm not even sure it's the same guy playing Dante. Either way, there isn't much of it in the game, but when there is it's written poorly, and acted out even worse.

Extras/Unlockables: This game is challenging for novices at action games. There are 3 difficulties total, 3 playable characters. Then also lots of weapon upgrading and item and secret finding to do.

So, if you enjoyed DMC 1, and want to continue with the series, you'll obviously play this game. Otherwise, stick to the original. (Keep in mind I haven't played DMC3 yet)
