Pardon my surprise here, but wtf happened here?! Why...how could they destroy the best action franchise ever so quickly?
-graphics: how is it a sequel looks worse than the original?!
-story: one word....contrived!
-characters: aside from dante's new outfit, all are awful, even dante himself!
-difficulty: i actually fell asleep once on the first level, and still beat it!
-game engine: Why did they try to improve what was perfect the first time?!
-gameplay: Oh, my dear lord! The game is playable (even if you're a monkey), and yet there's no drive or reason to do so. the boss's are idiotically designed and produced. the voiceover's are horrendous. none of the new combat elements enhance gameplay so much as they stagger it, or worse, get in it's way. puzzles...there are puzzles in this garbage?
Seriously, someone at capcom better have gotten fired over this, and in the very least capcom should apologize publicly for this abomination if not recall it outright.
