This game is only at its best if you never played the original, but its still a pretty good game
The story starts out with Dante getting a "invitation" from Vergil's assistant, Arkham. This is when the game starts. The moves are cool. Really improved from the first two Devil May Crys. The combos can be done in many different ways and they are used to the fullest. Dante tries to be funny at points in the game, but his jokes are meh, A for effort. You start out with 4 styles, which are all cool. Each of those would refer to your type of killing, like either with guns or swords. You can also level these styles up as well. When you maximized the style, you will have a hell lot of fun. There are more styles to unlock as well. You will meet up with more characters as well, some are cool, and some are annoying. You can also unlock more weapons. There are alot of weapons your going to enjoy. Keep buying upgrades for them and once you have all of them, you will be killing demons in many different ways and it never gets boring. You may like this game if you like button mashing, cuz thats basically what it is. The graphics in this game aren't bad, but they do seem downgraded from the original. The monsters still look badass though, especially the bosses. They are very fun to fight, especially the final, but its all too easy if you played the original one already. The music can help motivate you as well. I suggest you get this game, its only $20 and it has alot of unlockables. You wont regret it, and its like your being introduced to the series, so you have nothing to lose.
