Dante's back and cooler than ever. Last chapter on the ps2, DMC3 is a must have for every action games fan.

After the disapointing DMC2, everyone was scared about the 3rd game. Was it going to suck like the second one did? Fortunatly, no, DMC3 is seriously one of the best action games ever made. "So, what's DMC3 about?" Well, DMC3 takes place before the original. Dante recieves an "invitation" of his older twin brother called Vergil. Although they were both sons of Sparda, (the legendary dark knight that sealed the demon world), they both chose different paths. While Dante destroys demons and protects Earth, Vergil leads deamons and tries to open the portal once sealed by his father to gain his powers. So, it starts the battle of the twin brothers... Graphics: Although DMC3 isn't graphically the best, it isn't the worst either. The enemies are all well done so as Dante with his stylish look. There are some nice effects now and then. Sound: Gunfire + Rock soundtrack = cool stuff really. Gameplay: DMC3 is amazing. Don't get fooled by reviews that say that the game is hard. It aint hard, its a challenging game, but if you made it through the 1st one, you will have no problems with this one. Dante has more firepower than before, plus new devil forms. Besides, Dante can now change Style. At the beginning of the game, Dante is capable of choosing between 4 styles: Trickster, Swordmaster, Gunslinger and Royalguard. With Trickster, Dante is capable of running on walls, evading enemies more easily. Its the default style. Swordmaster makes Dante elite with the melee weapons. Has a bigger variety of slashes and is capable of throwing his sword or do air combos. Gunslinger: With this style, Dante can shoot in various directions with his guns. It is pretty handy to those who don't really like melee weapons. Gunslinger also improves firing speed. Royalguard: Dante is capable of Blocking attacks. If an attacked is blocked on the right time, Dante will get some power which he can use to counter attack enemies. Btw, every style has 3 levels, you will need to gain experience to achieve new style moves. Cool. The only downfall of DMC3 are some levels and enemies, mainly the chess pieces. These enemies are really boring. DMC3 is really an amazing game, if you liked the 1st one or are a action games fan, don't rent it, BUY IT.
