Capcom just can't go wrong!

User Rating: 10 | Devil May Cry 3 PS2
To be completly honest, I would rather use speed over power any day. Although I did have some fun in God of War, which seemed like a similar game, I felt that it have a unique style to it; none. Kratos fought more like Mike Tyson; all brutal power, nothing pretty. On the other hand, Devil May Cry 3's Dante fought like Cassius Clay (or Muhammad Ali, whatever); float (litarally) like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Because of that, I enjoy DMC3 a whole lot.

Fighting styles aren't enough for me to enjoy a game. However, Devil May Cry 3 is so on point, I couldn't help but to give it a perfect score. The boss fights are superb (though not memorable), the environments are beautiful, the presentation is just great, and the graphics are outstanding for the PS2's standard.

The game itself is a giant improvment from Devil May Cry 2, which was fun but lacked the attitude of the first one and was way too serious; something that made the game almost dull and boring. It's not as serious, the bulk of the first game's attitude is back, and it's still a fun.

Yes, it is hard as hell. In fact I haven't beaten the game above easy mode yet (and I tried 3 times). If you're not looking for a challange, look else where or you will feel screwed. Otherwise, it's one hell of a game, and shouldn't be miss.
