Redeeming Gameplay

The story is very poor, and the graphics are marginal with muddy textures and some alaising issues and yet the gameplay of this title is a strong redeeming aspect. The complexity of the battles and the well-devised fighting mechanic make this game worth a play though despite its drawbacks. The fighting mechanic of this game has many imitators but I have yet to play a game that matches it, its fast, fluid, and opponents are readable and responsive. This game is also no push over by any means yet it is not unrealistic either with a little analysis and tact the game is quite surmountable. The sound aspect of the game is good but a bit repetitive. Ultimately is a good game worth a play though especially now that it’s a “greatest hits” title… just skip the story that spews forth froths of Japanese cheese ;) .
