If you played Devil May Cry 2, you saw it was a disapointment. However, the series makes a comeback in the third Devil May Cry installment. The newest idea from Capcom to the series is the use of styles. There are four styles: Swordsmaster, Gunslinger, Trickster, and Royalguard. These styles upgrade by playing them and allow powerful and fun moves. Plus, the moves arent that hard to pull off. The story takes place before the first Devil May Cry, revealing Dante's past with his brother, Vergil. The enemies are, once again, very creative with new attacks. Plus, you learn about Dante's sword rebellion that just seemed to magically appear in Devil May Cry 2. Devil Trigger seems a little dulled down this time around, but thats explainable since this does occur before the other games. The boss fights are very creative and there seem to be more of them than in the other titles. Plus, you get more weapons that are based on the boss's attacks. However, some of the bosses and enemies can be very frustraiting at times. Purchasing moves is back as well. Devil May Cry 3 is a very enjoyable game and everyone should at least give it a test drive.
