Crazy,Stylish,Insane...FUN!!!!!
Setting/story:
You play as a half demon half human,cocky and funny guy called Dante,who loves to hate his bro.Armed with a sword and two guns you take on the forces of hell who are all out to get you,throw in a girl who is about half crazy herself,a very "loving" brother and the usual bad guy priest who is the father of the girl ,you got the core story of devil may cry3.
Gameplay:
The gameplay involves a stringing up a bunch of very punishing moves that look and feel outta this world.The other stuff involve finding keys,solving a few puzzles down the line,the puzzles are usually tilting light beams at the right angles and so on,they really wont stump you(thats the good part! you dont want the action to stop do you?).As the game goes on,you acquire more weapons and they all have different combos,you can upgrade weapons by spending these red orbs that pop out when you kill the bad guys.
There also different fighting styles like sword master,trickster,gunslinger and royal gaurd(and one more later).These styles are very different and will surely make you want to go back to the game once you finish the final boss.
The enemies are varied and imaginatve and at times,makes you think and plan(not too much though,which again,is good).
Graphics:
not very impressive considering games like god of war,the textures seemed a bit washed out and the place at times seemed dull,but this is not bad,but its not great either....In short,It could have been better....
Sound:
The games sound track is simply amazing,The battle tracks get your fingers mashing and get your mind in the right state of mind,whereas the games non combat soundtrack gives you a 'somethings around sense'.
The SFX is good too.A special mention bout the boss fight tracks here,they were awesome.It's a lil' metal and light trance put together.
The only complaint I have here is that It becomes a bit too repetitive after a while.
Special mention:the cut scenes are just plain amazing and fun,Dante comes up with these cheezy lines that make you laugh.
This is an awesome game that should not be missed,quite simply,if you wanna hit somebody but cant,play this game,stress buster!!!
You will go back to this game cause of the different styles,or maybe just to experience the entire thing once more.
