It's a great game! Not the best in series, but it's a truly great DMC for the next gen consoles.

Alright,I've had plenty of fun playing this game for many hours,so I decided to review it.Ok,on with the review!

Graphics: 9/10 The graphics are great! The characters look great, the weapons have very nice designs, and the enemies also look pretty cool! Needless to mention that the bosses look awesome as well. There are a few "mistakes" such as Dante being stabbed my his own sword and then his clothes not being ripped afterwards, but they are hardly even noticable,so yeah, the graphics are truly great.

Soundtrack: 9/10 Great songs for fighting themes, that make your blood boil! The boss themes are very nice and fitting. As for the rest of the soundtrack,it's also very good.

Gameplay: 9/10 First of all,you get to play as two different characters : Dante ,the DMC series original protagonist and Nero,a new character who is the protagonist of this installment.
Nero doesn't have the Styles-based fighting system that Dante has,but he has the Devil Bringer(that awesome devilish arm) which he can use for a number of actions. The Devil Bringer is amazing and very helpful.Believe me,you might not miss Dante's styles, while playing as Nero. Combine that with the Red Queen's(Nero's Sword) Exceed system(it's like accelerating with a motorbike) and his gun and you have a great character for endless demon slaying! Now as for Dante, you have the Styles to use,but in this game, you can switch between styles at any time, allowing for a lot of combo moves. Dante also gets more weapons than Nero for both melee and ranged combat. Both characters share the Devil Trigger ability(Nero gets it later in the story),which vastly powers up your character for a given time limit.

Story :9/10 The story is solid and good, but we have a new....protagonist here...This disapointed some people as they didn't think Nero is a cool as Dante is.To me,Nero is also very cool and trust me,you will like him as well. The story takes place some time after DMC1 and before DMC2 probably. It's a good story and it will keep you interested.

Game/Difficulty Modes : 9/10 With all those difficulty modes, there isn't much need for other game modes and for that you have my word... But,you have the Bloody Palace! It's a mode with A LOT of enemies and bosses to fight one after another by progressing through stages. Not easy at all to complete, but once you do,you will be rewarded. You also have a mode to view all of the cutscenes you have unlocked,a library to view information on things in the game,as well as a mode to view artwork of the game.

Conclusion : 9/10 It's a very good game and I would recommend it even for buying if you are a fan of the Devil May Cry series. The gameplay will keep you addicted for some times and the different and challenging difficulty levels will help at that too. You will definitely have fun with this game.
