i play the first level on hard. very simple no puzzles or skills require to pass the level. When i reach the boss level it was great story of how it was no half demon as the time. Base on the story alone it is easily a 8.5 but give the game play and how it not as quick at respond to button configuaration it seem like something you play on the first playstation. The game paces was slow on hard. I think if the game play was to step up it may of be a 8 Easily. I dont know since it so simple is this a title you would buy or rent first but as you go alone it will grow on you. Some of the features in the game can make thinks hard to focus on mission but other then that. i say give devil may cry 3 a try. Have to wait on 4 to see if any improvements. Great franchise!!!! look back on the series i think the first two games is what reallie did judge for the series if we can go back to some of that quick no stop game play i think this will be a series to competed with. looking forward to similar title to compare to.
