This game is one of the most intense action games available on any console, and I consider it better than the latest sequels (devil may cry 2, devil may cry 3), in the game you control Dante a character who uses swords and guns to defeat his foes but, what makes interesting the gameplay is how easy you can create big combos and how good they look, add this to an awesome background music thats changes depending on the situation ( for example, when you start fighting your enemies a fast background music will start playing ). The graphics are pretty good too and even today this game is graphically better than most of your average high-budget title.
The action is furious and fast and you need to be quick and precise otherwise you could get killed in a matter seconds, sometimes you get like 5 enemies on the screen so you need to use everything you have to try to kill them and scape from their attacks at the same time, when you have this situations you realise how intense the game is, plus the bosses are pretty cool for the most part and some of them are powerful and very hard to beat.
If you own a playstation 2 and you wanna kill tons of enemies and looking good and stylish while doing it, then you can't be wrong, this is the way to go.
