I bought this game on the cheap, knowing how good it actually was I would of happily paid more.

Hard to believe that once this game was going to be Resident Evil 4, until it took shape on its own to become a different game altogether. You play as Dante, son of a great demon hero Sparda, but Dante is only half-demon as his mother was human. But Dante's family was killed and he now is a hired demon slayer, hoping to one day kill the one that killed his family. One day a mysterious Femme Fatele walks into his office and after almost killing him, allies with him and tells him that she knows where the demon that he is looking for is. Devil May Cry is one of those rare game that uses the old Castlevania formula and succeeds. The combos and just everything about the way Dante moves is perfect. The graphics are amazing, all the Gothic settings are amazing, the character models are good. The music changes from a tense Gothic tune to some guitar rifts surprisingly well and the voice acting is really good. There is a decent length of action gaming here and you can play it through on a harder difficulty again and again which is good for long term gaming. This is an excellent piece of Horror Action gaming and it will be hard to find better.
